And this is his best book yet...which is QUITE a statement.Here are the things I love about Be Obsessed or Be Average:1) I really loved learning more about his personal story of his battle with drug addition.2) I love his attitude and the way he tells everything it like it is. He wants everyone to know him, but he’s not out to win a popularity contest. I seriously respect him for his no-BS attitude.Here are the main takeaways I got from Be Obsessed or Be Average:1) There is no one thing in life that you should be obsessed about. Be obsessed with EVERYTHING! Be OBSESSED with being an incredible son/daughter/mother/father/brother/sister/friend/etc. Be OBSESSED with being a rockstar entrepreneur, salesman, or whatever your career path might be. Be OBSESSED with achieving your ideal physique. Be OBSESSED with amassing a monstrous net worth for your family and to pursue opportunities to help others. Be OBSESSED with giving back to your family, your community, and the world! Go ALL IN…EVERY TIME. “Under-promise and over-deliver” is a phrase for under achievers. As Grant says in The 10X Rule, “Imagine that the products and services we’re so often temped to buy used ‘average’ in their advertising: ’This fairly average product can be found at an average price and delivers mediocre results.’ Who would buy such a product? People certainly don’t go out of their way to find and pay for run-of-the-mill merchandise.” Promise BIG results and deliver at an even HIGHER level.7) YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO BE OBSESSED! There is nothing wrong with being obsessed. Anyone who pushes beyond average will face ridicule from society. I read this book in 2 days. While flying through the chapters I felt an immediate connection and it was as if I had been talking to myself. This book helped me realized the mistake in slowing down and taking it slow and most would tell any ambitious millennial who dared to dream big and make those dreams public. As soon as I finished reading the last chapter in this book I sat down and wrote all the things in my life that were not helping me reach my fullest potential. This included having a conversation with my husband about being on the same page, about telling my friends that I am no longer a drinking buddy, booking monthly sales conferences 3 months out and taking my butt back to the gym tomorrow. As a child I grew up being told that I couldn't have everything, to get a government job because it was secure. All this advice came from people who never took their own advice and were from the lower class with no sign of moving up. All in all, I give this book 5 thumbs up and have decided to go all in because of it. Anyone who is in need of an eye opener. Read this book!

This is a book that I will keep on my bookshelf for many years and consistently go back to for advice and guidance. This book will be helpful for generations to come. I can literally see a kid picking up this book in 2070 and being inspired to change the world with it. I like the review on the back where it says, "For those who use this information, it will be a life changer." I completely agree. You have to not just read the book, but read and re-read it, underline the tips and quotes. And then apply it into your own life. Grant gives SO many PRACTICAL tips on how to get what you want out of life. This book made it instantly into my top 10 books of all time. Probably top 3 actually. I went and bought Grant's other books immediately after reading this. Grant is super positive and motivational. After reading this book you'll want to crush it everywhere in life. You will finally be given PERMISSION to go after your goals with an obsessed/relentless attitude. This book had motivated me and inspired me to really go towards my goal with full force and positivity. I also purchased Grant's 100 Ways to Stay Motivated Course after reading this. Grant is simply obsessed with making the world a better place in a good way. He is a role model and mentor to me even though I do know him personally. There are so many good tips in here I can't begin to explain, you MUST read the book yourself. For anyone committed to success, this is the book for you.Grant, thank you so much for all that you do. My 4 year old loves this story!

Love, love, love this book! It has amazing illustrations, great story line, and great concepts covered. Like, metamorphosis, patience, migration, just to name a few. You have got to add this book to your library!

Funny! Great story! Good lesson for kids! This has become a favorite for both of my children.

My 5 year old loves this one! She clearly identifies with the impatient caterpillar. My husband sounds like he is having just as much fun reading to to her as she has listening to it.

Cute and funny. Would be a great read-aloud.

Such a colorful and fun book for little ones! My 18 m.o. really loves to point to the stars and the moon, and I love reading it to her! Hopefully this will help to encourage a fascination with the night sky, our solar system, and science in general.

This book is colorful and educational. I as an adult learned something new in the first couple pages. My 20 month old loves everything space related and is totally enamored by it! I actually just found out this author wrote a weather book too and plan to get it too!!!

My son loves this book and I would give it 5 stars if it was made better. I ordered this book several months ago, but after about a month of lots of reading, the paper/film with the image started separating from the board on the middle page (Saturn) and it eventually split down the middle beyond repair. I just ordered a replacement copy - my son loves it so much that he's sleeping with it at night, but now, after only one day, I've had to add tape to the same area in an effort to stop it from separating again - sadly, I feel that will only work for a little while.

I bought this book for our grandson who is 2 1/2. Once I gave it to him he insisted on sitting on my lap and have it read to him. The bright colors and shapes appealed to him and as he is interested in the solar system, the book was a hit.

I purchased this book for my 20 month old daughter to introduce her to simple concepts about science. She absolutely loved the book as soon as I opened it. It’s colorful, has great illustrations as well as short and interesting facts about each planet.Not a deal Breaker for me but it does list Pluto in the book. It is however, correctly labeled as a dwarf planet, which it was demoted to in August 2006 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). If you are concerned with any confusion regarding Pluto it may not be the book for you.Personally I loved it and plan on purchasing a few more of the author’s books!

As a huge fan of collage art (think The Very Hungry Caterpillar), I was so happy with this book. There are broad sentences about each celestial feature followed by a little "fun fact". Perfect for inspiring the imagination and visually appealing. The board book looks like it will hold up to years of love.

This is a wonderful book! My son was 17 months old when we got this book and he insisted on reading it every night for about a month and then from time to time since then. It has a page for every planet in the solar system and something quite cool is that although the illustrations are colorful drawings, many of the planets look surprisingly close to the real photographs of the planets. There are a few interesting facts about each planet - just enough for little ones to find interesting. My son is walks around now saying 'Jupiter!' 'Largest!' 'Great Red Spot!'. Very happy with this book!

My son is telling everyone he meets that we live on planet earth after careful study of this beautiful book. He has also decided ladybugs should live on Venus (unrelated observation). The artwork is truly beautiful (I don't often think that even with the all of the praise heaped upon illustrations for children's books these days) and the facts presented are interesting without being overly complex. My 2 1/2 year old and I heartily recommend.

I purchased the audio version to listen to during my commute to and from work. The narrators voices were easy to listen to and interestingly the actual author was included. I have always been a huge baseball fan, it’s an American tradition. I always suspected drugs played a role in the current players lives due to the unbelievable goals they obtain and the salaries they receive. It’s unfortunate especially when our kids simply need role models in their lives. This book allowed an insight to the MLB world which was beyond any moral and ethical betrayal I could have imagined. The book flows well, and is engaging. I found myself sitting in the driveway to finish a chapter before exiting my car! I found knowing the names of the famous athletes mentioned in the book from watching them on TV or at a stadium made the book even more engaging. I am truly disgusted that money and fame are more important then the game, being a role model to kids, or remembering why it’s fun to play the sport. This book opened up an exposure that unfortunately will be buried by MLB. The management, doctors and players who participate in the mentality to commit fraud and lie under oath is disgusting. I applaud the author for taking the stand to expose the evil that operates within MLB. It has changed my perspective of the game especially as I sat at the Nationals Stadium and watched the players during the home run derby this year. They were all superstars and no one failed. I wonder why??? I hope people read this and I pray an investigation could take place to expose the greed and cheaters. It’s sad to look at professional sports because the NFL tolerates domestic abuse, the NBA tolerates players being bought and dirty recruiting tactics, and now MLB promotes drug abuse no matter the risk, stealing from recruited players and to lie under oath! If I ever had a child or family member talented enough to be recruited by MLB I would tell them to not do it. You can ruin your reputation in a second when it takes a life time to build it. Clearly the individuals who are involved find that US currency is more valuable than their reputation. Thanks Mr. Dominguez for taking the risk to write this book. I pray you stay safe because it’s clear the MLB is an organized Mob.

Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of this book. Absolute must read for all sports fans. I could not put it down. Very well written. Dominguez’s story is as unique as it is fascinating. It is the most balanced book ever written on steroids in sport, in the sense that you get the perspective of the Athletes, Doctors, Investigators, Law Enforcement and the administrators of the sport. Yet this is only one part of the story. After reading this book, it was no surprise to see the recent news that a federal grand jury is looking into possible bribes involved in the signing of international players from Latin America, the smuggling of potential players into the U.S. and the use of steroids on teenage prospects.What a missed opportunity for MLB. The Department of Investigations (DOI) formed the most decorated band of investigators in sports compliance history in response to Senator Mitchell’s 2008 report. Sadly the former and current commissioner put their personal career goals in front of the best interests of the game. The commissioner’s office and the MLB labor team ran subtle interference from the very beginning and sadly it only got worse. Somehow, despite the constant meddling, the DOI were able to conduct several of the most successful investigations in world sport and Dominguez gives the reader a front row seat through it all. In the end, the DOI were too good at what they were hired to do and paid for it with their jobs.This book highlights the prevailing attitude of professional sports and the lip service they pay to their anti-doping/anti-compliance efforts. Why investigate and protect the interests of clean players, officials and the fans when you can sweep it all under the carpet……If only every professional sport had a group of stand up professionals like Dominguez and his team protecting the integrity of their game. As I said, do yourself a favor and grab a copy.

I strongly urge everyone to read "Baseball Cop." I ain't lyin'. It is nothing short of terrific.

I was excited for this book, being a baseball fan. The author held on to the Mitchell Report like it was binding law, repeatedly acting as if any deviation from the recommendation of the Senator was blasphemy. There were some interesting stories about baseball players and the inside of how the game works. But overall I just got the sense the author wrote this book to try and make certain people at his old job look bad. It’s a shame because a book like this could be really good if it wasn’t written out of vengeance.

I am going to be returning this book. I have been a vital docs/legal docs translator for 18 years. This book is larded with difficult to understand jibberish. All of it educational jargon. This is a college text, for sure, but it is not for me as a translator. I can see the possible use for translating literature or news articles, but not for what I do.

Another goofy and lovable collection of Sarah's Scribbles. I have to say, just going off the chosen title I had thought there would be a bunch more bits concerning cats. That's okay though cause it's always the regular slice-of-life comics that make me laugh out loud.Near the back there is a section about being an artist and getting criticized online and how this effects an artist's motivation and stuff. I think it's a good message that Sarah has put there about being sensitive to others and if you're an artist to not give up on doing what you love doing. There are just a lot of pages devoted to that.

I absolutely love Sarah Scribbles!!! Besides the whole no kids thing (((I have 2))), her personality mirrors mine almost perfectly. I was so happy when I found out she had another book coming out that I decided to preorder it. I expected to get it in the beginning of April but yay it came on the 30th of March!!! Great book, my favorite section is closer towards the end. Smart artist and I hope to meet her one day.P.s. I love stroking the cover.

I follow Sarah's Scribbles on instagram and I love her content. The book was in pristine condition with thick pages and fun comic entries. Since I have to buy a white elephant for the family white elephant, I purchased this book. Knowing my family, I will definitely not have to fight for it. That way I get to keep this gift all for myself! Buhahaha!

I love her books. You should buy and read all of them. They are funny, sweet, and poignant. In "Herding Cats" there is also a section on the toxicity of the anonymous online world and how that can affect young artists. That part alone is a MUST READ for anyone creating art, especially if you have younger kids in your life, nieces, nephews, kids or grand kids, they need to read it.Plus it's a lot of fun.Highly recommend!

Of course ive read the first in the series and this book didnt disappoint! Her comics are so true to most of us if not all and she is so hilarious and funny with her comics! She has light and dark humour and its just fun! Even though its meant to be funny, there are serious issues that she talks about and she shows us that we're not alone, not only in this book, but in her first two book in this series also! She delves but in a humorous way! I love Sarah Anderson and I hope she vomes out with more!

Herding Cats was the third graphic novel Sarah Anderson has released and it was honestly my favorite. I laughed out loud at almost every page and found it to be all too relatable. Her simplistic style is so captivating and I can't help but adore it.This book specifically celebrated what it's like to be an artistic introvert in a world full of deadlines and social environments. I especially appreciated the "Guide for the Young Creative" section at the end. It gave me hope that things will get better, it's normal to feel this way, and that I'm not alone.

I love comics and keep this one with the others in the bathroom. I read in the tub and like for my guests to have something to look at. I like Sarah's take on life in general. The blurb at the end for artists is insightful and reminds me to keep on pushing at my craft. I'll be buying more of her books in the future.
