I highly recommend this book, Preparing for the Glory, by John and Carol Arnott. I attended a conference at the Toronto Airport Christian Church in July 1997. I received an impartation of joy and the Father’s Love. I cried several times reading this book and got excited about the coming tsunami wave of God’s Glory and the greatest harvest of lost souls. John and Carol Arnott are two generals and wise stewards of the manifest presence of God. I love all of John & Carol Arnott's books. Normally, I take an abnormally long time to read most books (like 6 months!). However, the Arnott's books have captured my attention and interest so easily. I just started reading their newest book, "Preparing for the Glory," that I got for Christmas. I am already on the second to last chapter! It must be that we share a passion and undivided focus on the Holy Spirit's presence! 🔥🔥 If you love the Holy Spirit, you will love this book!Quotes"You see, when the Holy Spirit comes, He wants to take over. He doesn't just want to come on you a little bit; He wants all of you." (pg. 59)"God loves when we "tarry" in His presence through soaking, worship, and reading His Word. Being intentional with our time is a huge key to seeing revival. God also loves when we release our need for control and allow Him to do whatever He wants in and through us. Even if we fall over or look strange, He wants us to be willing to be filled by Him, no matter the cost. God loves us so He wants to be with us. He wants us to focus our attention on Him and to position our lives toward Him. In doing this, we make ourselves ready for revival." (pg 2)

An exceptional work by two exceptional people. May we take their wisdom to heart and let God lead us in His next great move.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I also believe that we are living in a time that a great move of God is on the way. There have been numerous signs given to us from God. These end times signs remind me of scripture in the gospels where Jesus tells the disciples what signs to look for. The body of Christ must prepare itself for this time. It is not time to put on the facades of being believers, we must "be" and "do" what we have been instructed by our heavenly father.

The book is great! I am president of Message of Faith Ministries. We have a Bible School. We are studying the history of Spirit out pourings. We recently finished the study of Azusa St and are now studying Toronto! I highly recommend this book! Dr. Franklin Hunt

As a whole I found this book challenging. The authors, based upon former moves of God, believe we are being prepared for the final move of God prior to the Second Coming of Christ. They gave some excellent suggestions for the Church to follow as this event approaches. An excellent read!.

This is way more than a children's book. It is a beautifully written and illustrated for anyone who has lost a loved one. I have bought at least 20 copies and given it to many who are grieving. It is so much more meaningful than giving flowers or such to anyone who has lost someone dear. I cannot tell you how much it meant to the receiver. It is especially helpful for parents to read to the very young who lose a parent or grandparent to help them understand death and be presented it in a beautiful way which they can understand. As an adult it is also very comforting to think of those who have passed in the way the author presents life after death and yet never mentions the word heaven so it is excellent for believers as well as non believers. It is my favorite book. I have read and re read it and never tire of the beautiful thoughts. I do not know of anyone who isn't touched by Warren Hansens book.It is truly more than a 5 star rating.

I came across this book when my Aunt was in the hospital and nearing the end of her life. I thought she would find it comforting, and I got it to share with her when the time was right. Well, the time never seemed quite right, and she passed before I could read it to her. I did read from it at her memorial service. I came back to get two more copies for my cousins, whose sister is fading away and will be lost to them any day now. I hope they find a little peace in the beautiful thoughts and the brilliant illustrations Mr. Hanson has given us.

I got this book for my 6 year old daughter when her aunt moved to hospice care, it is a beautiful book with lovely words that helped her a lot. This was the first time she has experienced the loss of someone close and this book helped us to talk about what was happening and encouraged her to ask questions. As an adult i was also moved by this book and would recommend this book to anyone in this sad situation.

Someone dies. You want to have the right words for the person(s) who are left behind, for those facing a profound loss of a loved one. This book does it for you. It is beautifully written and illustrated. Very simple, exquisitely poignant, and completely uplifting - it touches and lifts the heart. It was given to me when my dear brother died and is a treasure. I have given it again and again to others. There is space to add photos if you want though it was not meant specifically to be an album. For me it became a beautiful memory book. Hansen also wrote another amazing book called Paw Prints in the Stars, another memory book (this one intended as a journal and album) for people who have lost four-legged fur-faced animal companions. Thank you Mr. Hansen for your healing gift!

This is a sad reason for five stars, but it’s the second book we’ve bought for someone close to us that died. My daughter read it at my dad’s funeral, and the last one was given to my daughter’s daughter for a friend’s brother who died unexpectedly. It’s a comforting book to give someone who’s lost a loved one.

Excellent book!! I recently went to a memorial service where this book was read. I instantly bought it that night because it was so good. I lost my dad (only 59) unexpectedly only 8 months prior. The book is from their point of view of where their next place is, what it's like, and what they are like. Kind of different to hear that side vs the living. We all have our own beliefs of where people go and what happens to someone when they pass, but this book really touched my heart. I plan on sharing and spreading this book with others.

My Mom had purchased Warren Hanson's Older Love book for my Dad a few years ago for an anniversary gift. She has since passed and when I saw this book I just knew she wanted my Dad to have it. He really appreciated this book.

Really love this. We are a religious family, so my kids still had questions after we read this book, but I absolutely loved so many things about it. The words flow beautifully and it does answer the difficult question of why a persons body is still on earth/buried in the ground. It also talks about not taking any possessions when you die. It was a beautiful way to talk to my kids when their Granny died.
